SpecTRAX is an extensive database of detailed features, specifications and availability data for cellular handsets around the world.

Methodology

Each month we track the product announcements of over 150 handsets brands, recording the details of every new handset. Wherever possible, data are collected directly from the manufacturers. Additional research is conducted across a wide range of websites to fill gaps in the data.

On a quarterly basis, we conduct extensive research with each of 145 or more network operators in 29 countries around the world. The result of our research is a database of handset availability for each network operator, for each quarter, going back to Q2 2007.
